The Department of Labor predicts a shortage of 1 Million trained “Tech Workers” by 2020. (1) and projects a growth of Web Development jobs by 27% by the year 2024.

This is great news for aspiring web developers, as similar Bootcamps in the East Bay Area cost around $20,000 and are not accredited. The Cost of Code Berkeley begins at $148 per course with 10 courses estimated over 18 months and opportunities for scholarships and additional funding.

Code Berkeley, part of Berkeley City College’s programs, is the first state-funded Technology Bootcamp in California. Code Berkeley’s curriculum helps students develop strengths with Mobile Design, Online Games, Interactive Design, Visual Programming, E-Commerce, Project Development, Internet Marketing, Social Media, Streaming Media, and Web Design. Course offerings are available in the classroom and online for busy individuals.
